The Three Most Well-Known Teas
(in my region)
Black: often (like most any tea) found in China
Green: many variations found in Japan
White: again, often found in China, though its popular in many places around the world

Other "Color" Teas
Yellow: difficult to find in most places, though it can be found in China and Korea (the South at least) that I know of
Red (Rooibos): indiginous to Cederberg region in South Africa (only grown here), but is being found more and more often at least in the North-Western world
Purple: Primarily being grown in Kenya at present, though it seems to be getting shipped across the world

Oolong: Often found in China and Taiwan, though not only in these places (unlike pu-erh, for the most part)
Pu-erh: Found only in China, as far as I know
Darjeeling: Grows in West Bengal, India, though it can be found on occasion in many places around the world
Chai: found around the world, but originated in India
Herbal: Found all over the world, though I've seen it more often in the (North) Western portion of the world (Canada, USA, Europe, Morocco, etc)
Yerba Mate: Extremely high in caffeine, originated in South American subtropics, though it seems to commonly be attributed to Argentina
Oolong:
Pu-erh: Overall flavor (once aged appropriately) mellow and smooth. Sweet, bitter, floral, woody, astringent, sour, earthy, watery, tasteless (this tea's flavor depends on how long its been aged).
